Hi,
I am yet another person called Chris.
I live in New Zealand and love the fuzz.

The Pumpkins seem to be a common thread here, funnily enough Mellon Collie was the first album I ever bought, back in the day. My tastes are varied (who will ever admit to the opposite though?... haha). last.fm if you're interested..

I tend to lurk, more of a reader than a loudmouth, I guess.
I play guitar terribly.
Distortion is essential to hide my ineptitude, yay for pedals! :joy:

I'm Tom "Atomic" Allen from the Central Coast of California. I'm old (52), I'm ugly (see previous), and my guitar playing is a bad mix of Leigh Stevens, Johnny Thunders, Albert King, and Link Wray. got a bunch 'o strange stuff....tube heads and cabs, and cheap guitars (I like japanese Westminster Matsumoku stuff). I'm gonna buy me a couple of these here deviever pedals to sonically assault the two 20-something dudes I'm play with. Always up to talk trash, swaps, etc.

take care.

Well I thought I'd be the 'oldest git' on the forum.....but it seems I'm not!!

46yr old noise-botherer and neighbour annoyer. Love all music and have all sorts of weird shit. Am seriously getting back into the old vinyl and am soooo pleased I kept all my old albums!!

Have just been arseing around with my Vintage Fuzz and a Napalm 69 (TSA clone) as a looper/feedback interface - if there is a Circle 9 for effects, then I've found it!! I'm a total freak/anorak for fuzz/distortion/OD pedals, and have to say that the Soda Meiser I've got is the most brutal pedal I've ever had (closely followed by my Disaster Fuzz).

Oh the joys of noise. :thumb:

Rock'n'roll!!
Ahhhhh......the joys of noise!!

I'm Nate, I've been serious about playing guitar again for 10 months now (I took some lessons in high school). I have since gotten a '62 reissue Fender Jazzmaster, a Blues Jr. amp, and am starting a collection of fx pedals (I have about 10 right now). I drum full time in my band Rose HIll Drive
http://www.myspace.com/rosehilldrive
http://www.rosehilldrive.com
but have re-fallen in love with the guitar after getting a strong urge to start writing music and be more involved in the creative process in my band. I currently only own one Devi Ever pedal, the Shoegazer, and I absolutely love it, but am already eyeing a few more (Godzilla and Spectacular Aenima). This forum community seems really cool and laid back and I am looking forward to talking and learning with everyone here.

All Good festival? Yeah, we played that, what a mad house! We barely made it there in time for our set due to miles of backed up traffic and the terrible weather.

Hi all :hello:

Names Dustin and I'm from the old land down under (Australia!) I play a variety of instruments (lap steel, piano, guitar, bass and the odd banjo). Music and Drawing is basically my life, I hope one day to bring my abstract thoughts on life to all through these two means haha. Not in a band atm, just doing solo stuff until the time arises that I need to play with other people lol.

I've got a TBD that I use and abuse non stop and have a Bit Mangler on the way. I've found that Devi's effects can help me express my thoughts/ideas through music better than anything else I've ever played!
So this is permanence; love-shattered pride. What once was innocence, has turned on its side.

Hey,

My name is Mitch, I'm in a band called Astro Zombies. We play Hardcore/Horror Punk/Noise, basically more fun to play than for most people to listen to. On the side I'm in a Death From Above 1979-esque band called Octopunch and I also make NEScore music in my freetime. I use a Fender Jazzmaster and a Fender Mustang with a Big Muff and Small Stone Phaser.

I'm interested in building my own pedals and everybody here seems very friendly so I thought it would be cool to join.

I'm not used to message boards so everything I just typed sounds very awkward, short sentences and whatnot. . . oh well, what's done is done.

Love,

Mitch
