i don't remember and i've since changed it! when i don't use the guitar every few days it goes so far out of tune that i just go with a new tuning. right now i have no clue what the low E is tuned to, but off the top of my head the A string is a minor 6th above, D is unison with A, G is a major 6th (?) above the A, B is unison with G and there is no high E string.

I can't believe I'm "that guy" but I'll have to take a raincheck on this one, stupid holiday bills :picard:

There is smallsound/bigsound in my future though, I'm sure of it.

we'll see! i'm going to try and record/post a demo later today.
also, all five have been spoken for, though those people may not dig the demos, not have the cash, etc. also, there's always the possibility that i just do a run of 6... ;)

UPDATE! CIRCUIT SOUNDS RAD! CV IN IS A GO! BAD ASS!

i just posted this on my blog, but here it is for you homeys.

*it goes from huge synth fuzz to thin nasal mosquito buzz with some nice reedy shades in-between.
*the modulation is pseudo random and has a solid range from super slow to crackle-y fast. there is also a CV input which disables the random source so you can use a periodic LFO or other source. i tested it with a 9v, 5v and bipolar 9v source. the 5v had the largest range with the depth pot, though the 9v worked ok too. the bipolar source worked, but the range was much smaller and as the circuit isn't designed to work with one, i would recommend against using it. your mileage may vary with the CV in, but most sources should work fine...
*i decided to also add a "chop" switch which makes the depth either really choppy and stark (almost tremolo) to smoother (though i disliked a very smooth setting and decided to omit one for simplicity).
*tons of output on this beast.

overall the random source is really interesting. there are lots of broken sounds here as well as some subtle movement - though single notes work fine, i think the circuit really shines on legato playing, after reverb or another modulation effect (phaser) or more sustained, notes. guitar and synth clips to follow later.

my studiomates are here, so i can't properly record any clips at a decent volume right nowwwwww :(

ok HOMEBOY, maybe i'll make it a run of 7! the clips will decide the fate of this run... i'm willing to go up to 10, considering that's what i wanted to do in the beginning.

well, there's a lot of ruckus with the internal modulation, but it's nice to have the option for different stuff.

what does everyone think about this layout? jacks would be on the long side where the knobs are.
oh and compy.
