Talk me out of trading my GK MB2-500 for more speaker cabs. I do have another amp and I think the vent fan needs to be replace. I'm learning the class D amps and fuzz don't really like each other too much. Apparently you can't clip a class D amp without frying it,....sooooooyeah.
So far I've tried to type out two CL posts looking to sell or trade the amp, one post I accidently x-ed out of the tab before the pics uploaded and the second time I inadvertently did something in "no script" that made my text disappear. This leads me to believe that I should hang onto this amp just to have a backup and just save for cabs.
I will never tell someone NOT to get rid of their Class D amp. If you can't pull a muscle when moving it on a gig, it's not a real amp.

Please note that I'm not entirely serious, but I'm not entirely joking either. Seems like even the good lightweight amps always have a caveat: "Sounds pretty good... for only weighing 6 pounds."
This shit is only important to nerdy gear whores like me though, because nobody else can tell the god damn difference, and odds I are I wouldn't spot it either, unless it was me playing through said amp. But, when in doubt, I say MORE KNOBS and MORE SPEAKERS is never a bad thing. MORE WATTS... nah. Fuck headroom!
