i love rotary switches, but be advised that they’re about the biggest component you can put in guitar electronics. be sure the switch you want will both 1. fit in the rout where you want to place it and 2. fit the control cavity height-wise. i had to do some Dremelizing on the Kondor to fit the rotary pickup selector and the DeLisle varitone into the control area.

i'll have to check into that. like i said, i love rotaries, especially pickup selectors and tone switches, but the ones i've used were like 1.25-1.5" diameter and about the same or worse deep. i really want rotaries on the Galaxiemaster, and could conceivable add a Schaller-style tone switch to anything else i thought it would be suitable for.

Ums i bought some alpha rotary just eyeballing looks fine but we shall see. Putting it in the top cavity as i dont care for the rhythm circuit and this might get some humbuckers under jazz covers if i dont like the seymour antiquity 1s. Decided to do full nels cline spec 250ohm pots for volume and tone and see if i dont like jmaster pickups a bit more
