I sent Rhys a bunch of gut shots of my V4/horizontal memory loss as he was working on this new rendition, and I'm very happy to state that this is the closest you're ever going to get to the holy grail of mem losses which is the V4. It has the same controls and characteristics in the overall sound, but with some bonus features like more delay time, input indicator LED and more radio static if you roll back your guitar's volume knob. It's maybe a tad bit darker than the V4, but only very slightly. Could just be that I'm using a different amp than I did when I made the horizontal mem loss demo. I don't know what else to say. It's an amazing version of the circuit and if you've ever been curious about the mem loss, this is the time and place to put those thoughts and feelings into action. That's my take and I've owned like 5-6 versions of this circuit by now.
Awesome! It is fantastic to see that it has the look of the early Seppuku pedals. Really tempting for me!
Yeah, I recommended Rhys to sell some pedals there after a ridiculously overpriced Seppuku pedal popped up for sale again. Seems to work quite good for him.
Ouuuf, I've waited YEARS from him to tackle reverb. He even gave it a try some years back and kept me in on the loop on the development, but he eventually stepped away from it. It's going to be hard for me not to grab one of these!
