Hedra does seem cool - have you also considered the RPL Raster v2? :snax:

edit: sorry - don't know how i missed the tagline saying you'd ordered it - hope you enjoy!

Thanks for the suggestion.

Raster 2 seems like a great pedal but I think Hedra is a better fit for me since I was more interested in the pitch shifting then delay (already have a quadraverb and Alexander Quadrant). I also prefer the simpler interface of it.

Really looking forward to receiving it. It seems to be able to do so much with the detune, the glide, deciding when the delay happens (can be instant and act like a normal pitchshifter, making octaves up/down and chords possible etc)

This video and Zach Rizer's (bass demos) one made me pull the trigger

That friedman looks like it could be really cool
It is because I got it :joy:

MORE FUCKING DIRT

Its a high gain pedal that has some clarity and top end - Think Alice in Chains Dirt / Jar of Flies vibe. Compared to my Magic Pedals Bongzilla - the zilla has this super wall of fuzz sound - I like them both ran into each other. I need to get some IR's loaded on my Cab M and take this fucker for spin.

So far its worth it.

Tomorrow is pay day so I may finally order the fucking marshmallow and get it

Yeah, I just crave that Peavey sound as an occassional tone. My amp is painfully clean and I don't want the usual Marshall/Vox/Fender amp in a box sound.

wouldnt it be easier to get a bandit for those PV moments? they are pretty easy to lug around i bet if you ditch the speaker you will knock off substancial weight

I currently have fredric fx gas. i think friendship infected me with the cheese wedge bug. there probably are better fish in the percolator though (why would you NOT want the noise and glitches??). Also back on my chorus bs cause i have been looking at the ... Anal-OG Man one  there are seemingly few ones like it that is bare-bones no compander with a mix knob. not as pricy as i thought tho. butt-fuck mike has way better prices than his 2nd hand market (why is two weeks of wait thime worth over 100 bucks? weeew man)

Oh the fredric gas hits me sometimes too. The super unpleasant companion is quite cool, with both the FY-2 and 6 in the same wedge. Sounds real nassty. Didn't know there was a percolator, but after checking the demo is surely has quite a lot of nastiness left in it?

Yeah, i think you can shut off the filter in the cheesy one too but there is a comparison and the non-tampered one has these awesome artifacts you would be insane to get rid of

The companion one is really cool too tho im kinda torn cause the tiny one with the bass mods is pretty sick too. I have the fuzz face one and it is sick and incredibly crackly at low gain which my other ff isnt. he has an insanely good lineup in general, shame brexit had to go and put a 25% upcharge on it all

Just acquired my second Ibanez Smash Box via craigs, Phoenix is a great area for the kreggin. My first one was like my second or third pedal ever, before I had a clue about matching up with the right cab or sim (or channel, for that matter) and just wanted something basic and cheap. Definitely finding a new appreciation for it now, and looking forward to getting a new bass sometime later this year. Pretty awesome you can turn the highs all the way down and still have clear useable tone. I would totally do a third CF7 at this point as well.

not that i am remotely interested in one, but curious to hear what you think if you end up getting one. I always have been curious to know what's so special about that chorus. A couple months back i saw a local ad with the double version of it (bichorus i think?) for DUMB money.

Best I understand it, the Analogman units just use the correct values from the early Small Clones.
For backstory, in the early days of the DIY scene, there was a small clone schematic that's still used today (and was even weirdly used by EHX for the reissue, with one other extra change) that had two minor mistakes.
1. The clock cap was too big so the delay time was longer than it should be and 2. One of the mix resistors was too small so it was a bit on the heavy modulation side compared to actual vintage units.
So the Analogman is just a bit less sea sick basically... you could mod a reissue small clone pretty simply.
