Well, for people who don’t want to understand new things, the Line 6 DL-4 Mk 2 is coming soon.

But isn't the DL-4 only version 2 whereas the Revolver is version 4?

Doesn't that make the DL-4 version 2 the "newer" thing to understand?

:poke:  :)*

AND it has a "new" look.

I can't be bothered understanding that either. I'm never going to get my dream job in a Minus the Bear cover band.

I honestly don't know if you're joking or not here, Goroth. Either way I'm still laughing!

I'm not joking.

I used to spend time trying to understand pedals but now I'm like if I can't spin some stuff and work out wtf is going on I'm not going to play it. The old Revolver ii was about the limit of my brain. And tbh there were a couple of settings where I didn't understand the parameters, but I knew where the knobs sounded good. I managed to set up my CT5 so it had like a constant slow LFO lowpass filter on one of the settings and I hated it and couldn't work out how it got there nor how to get rid of it. That was the end of the straw with me understanding things.

I now just buy dirt pedals.

i'm bemused to be at a place with GAS where i thoroughly admire this new version and have absolutely no desire to jump onboard (easy to say when you have a DX that you are finally beginning to grok)...carry on - i'd love to hear what an ILFer does with this one at some point :snax:
