i completely forgot about the Black Forest and how bad-ass it was/is.
the chorus quietens down if you plug a cable into both outputs (it's supposed to have wet/dry outs, but fuck me if there isn't modulation happening in the dry out). at this point i'm considering just sticking a dummy plug in the Dry Out jack and moving on with life. a good kludge is as effective as an actual solution. i will e-mail them asking about this though, because it's not right.

Nice board! What’s the one with the orange knobs?
BitQuest.

However it’s a raptor quest because it comes from the raptor man himself

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
e-mailed them. i'm going to go on ahead with the dummy plug plan so i can get the damn board up and running. it sounds so great when engaged that i'm dying to have it useable, and i've been dicking with this board for what, three weeks now? i want to quit wiring things and start using them...i mean, there's a certain aesthetic enjoyment in optimizing a layout, but enough is enough already. and i'm almost out of patch cables shorter than 2 feet.
i also have to dig into the Attack Decay manual to figure out how to configure it for the expression pedal. it must be set to control volume at present because with the EP plugged in there was no output at all, and i really don't want to have to plug it in/out each time i use it.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
1st board revision of 2021: back on the small board again and this time i'll try to stick to this as much as i can.

Very very very satisfied with this board.
Last year i've spent a lot of time having fun with multiple loopers and granular stuff on board, but now I want to work on new material for the band and more "regular" writing in general.
The only thing I'd like to change is to swap the Tensor with an EHX 1440 for longer looping times so i can record some riffs and progressions without being forced to 9s. I already have the BOSS RC30 but it's huge and doesn't fit in that space.
I reduced the dirt section to the classic fuzz-od-dist trio, ditched the Interstellar Overdriver for the Dr.Sci The Elements to have more flexibility towards higher gain stuff, and finally added the Alexander F.13 for flanger and chorus sounds.
Got a Virus incoming from Jero but have totally different plans for it

That is not the wah but the AMT expression pedal which I use to control the Timeline.

so more of a pedal area than a board, then.

That came in the mailbox few days ago. It's a good take on the HM2, I got it because of the clean blend.MaxMaps wrote:Boner town! I even see a fuzzlord hm6 !gila_crisis wrote:Here's how my floor looks like these days, more or less the same as usual.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
yep. exactly what i was looking for. a good way to record lined in to a mixer and actuallllly sound like a bass.
the dirt is pretty furking thick too. easier to dial in walls of sound than a light clank even.
