Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Not anywhere as cool or involved as some of the awesome boards on here, but I think its an alright start for a good base of pedals. I've only recently gotten into pedals and man I'm hooked lmao. Just a simple blues/sludge setup.
Looking to add a Behringer Vintage Delay, Small Stone, and Crybaby and use that for awhile experimenting and trying different things and upgrading from there.
At the moment, I'm planning on replacing the Dynamic Distortion with a Rat, get rid of the cheap $20 reverb pedal I got just to try and find a different tuner and that'll be it for now.
Just a simple Overdrive, Fuzz, Distortion, Phaser, and Delay setup I've found covers just about everything I like to play.
Also, open to recommendations on other budget friendly pedals that could fit nice here!

It's tricky to post a picture wherever you're linking from without it being blown out... I remember managing to somehow, but I don't remember how

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
It's really not straight forward at all, but I do it all the time. You've got to be on a computer, then:goroth wrote:Anyone know how to post instagram pix as inline images on ILF? I should post my board...
1) open the image in a separate tab/window
2) right click and hit inspect (can also ctrl-shift-I)
3) go to the Sources tab
4) click though the folders until you find your image (there might be different sizes)
5) open image in a different tab/window
6) then use that link to post here
Maybe there's an easier way, but this is what I do

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
I tried that, and it almost worked out. I've edited my original post in this thread like 5 times since last night to try to make it correct. Problem is, the attached image looks alright on the phone but look at the same thing on the computer and the image is blow out to hell. This is annoying lmao. Anyway, that's my bare bones, work in progress pedalboard at the moment.... I'll figure out how to get pictures in post correctly eventuallyMrNovember wrote:It's really not straight forward at all, but I do it all the time. I gave my other cosmi to the other guitarist in my band.
So the way the board is working - I tried to make shit simpler, but it just got too hard to sing and switch pedals, so I've kinda gone back to how I used to do things, but with less pedals. Tuner first, then into the Henretta comp/envelope. Comp is set at less than unity, so in the unlikely event I need to play clean it will clean up a bit and the compression will make up for the loss of volume. The envelope is so I can do wah stuff without having to use my foot.
Then it goes into a home made A/B where one side is to the black Elements (set on high gain) and the other is to the copper Elements set on low gain. Both Elements are always on. Then it goes into a Penny Pedals Radio Deluxe (the pink raptor) and then the cosmi, then into the black One Control Looper. It goes into the Meet Maude then the BitQuest then the Sunny Day Delay. The looper is rad because it has tails.
The SDD is always on, and at a fairly long delay, maybe 600 ms or so IIRC. Just set nice for shreds and general purpose delaying. When I need more washed out stuff I'll add the Meet Maude which is at a shorter delay time. They're set up to be roughly in time with each other but the MM is a division of the SDD. The BQ is on a near infinite verb. I'll add this if I really need #ambientnotes. So the three delayish things are all activated by the one switch.
In the context of the music I make, I essentially have 3 switches to press in any one song, and they are all close by.
So that's the story of my pedal board.
Thanks MrNovember for the insta help.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
thats really cool! Using the elements like that sounds excellent! Allways on delay rules also. Do you have the MM before or after the SDD? I'd run the long first (no feedback) so the short delay plays things twice for surfy tape echoness

I've always run short delay into long delay. I don't know why.qersty wrote:thats really cool! Using the elements like that sounds excellent! Allways on delay rules also. Maybe I should test it the other way around.

My home setup is more random, it's just pedals I like. I kinda miss not having the band-board set up. I find it so functional, and I can get a lot of mileage out of it, and it just suits how I play, so I think I could probably set up like this at home as well. But it is probably good to have my home gear being really different and set up different, so I get out of my comfort zone a bit.
I've tried lots of other stuff, but Dr Ryantist just makes stuff that sounds like how I want it to sound.
