Hello fellow fuzzters!

I finally broke down and joined, as all my fuzz-related queries seemed to bring me here. I've lurked for a while, and I'm in for some lively gear talk.

I've played a LOT of fuzzes, of every color imaginable, so my ears are very trained to fuzz textures. I am especially enamored of the Univox Super-Fuzz, and it's many variants. I heard one of these way back, and have been chasing this tone in my head ever since. Something about that squashed, spitty, octave thing has consumed me. I am lucky enough to have an original, as well as some clones. I am a fan of all things fuzz, play both guitar and bass, and I am hoping to learn, and share my experiences with gear.

I'm into surf music, doom metal, biker fuzz, 60s garage, 70s-80s punk/metal, and just about any good, honest rock. I LOVE instrumentals, and I don't think songs need words to be compelling.

So, I'll be hangin' around a bit, asking and answering stupid questions. Check out my fuzzy bands in my signature if you like, and carry on...
