Yeah millimetrics are amazing.

Those IHush guitars are... impressive, but I don't like them?

I forgot how much I like Rick Kelly and am totally going to copy his Padouk Necked Snakehead Tele with Charlie Christians. Bill Frisell has one. I must also.

Anything CC is goddamn right. Something about them in a Tele just seems so... perfect.

Never played a mod shop one, but Ronin's are unbelievable guitars. Worth 5-7k? I mean...they destroy any vintage Fender I've ever played. Granted, a lot of the price of a vintage fender isn't really about how good they are as actual instruments. dunno lost my train of thought.

Aaron Bowen's builds are awesome, he's a really good guy, and his prices are insanely cheap for a completely hand built guitar.

I met a Luthier in Colorado Springs at Prosound Music. He was probably the most intelligent luthier I've ever met. He analyzed the crap out of my guitar because I have this obnoxious light buzz past the 12th fret. Well, he didn't have time to fix it but he said it most likely is the frets needing a slight shave but he wouldn't know until he got to working on it. I like that. He knew a LOT about guitars. I stopped him and I said "I have to tell you this. You're probably the smartest dude I've talked to about this.". He was pretty happy there. hahaha. He was smart as a whip. Wish I could use him. :(

Aaron Bowen's last couple of builds have been spectacular! He's a great dude and such a killer player.

It's starting to trend in the other direction. Baranik just released a completely handmade electric for $1750. If you look at the craftsmanship and what not, that's crazy.

I was focusing more on Jennings' pricing (and not criticizing, just observing), but duly noted - I will check those out. Kauer's Titan line is of interest in that regard, as well as the new Waterslide sub-brand, Rona.... :snax:

The new Baranik build for $1750 is a crazy bargain for a handmade guitar.
