SWISS THINGS | Volume/Exp Out Issue

Post by AquaMaria »

Hi, I purchased a Swiss Things "Mint" from Reverb and it looks brand new other than the fact that I can't get the volume expression out to work with my Dunlop DVP4 Volume (X) Mini Pedal (which I bought because that's the one they use on the demo board).
I'm going from the Volume out to the Aux in like it says and I get nothing. But as soon as I unplug the patch cord from the volume/exp out on the swiss things everything works. I tried plugin it in to all 3 Jack (input / output / aux) and I get nothing.

Am I doing something wrong?

I don't own either pedal, but some things coming to mind...
Are you using a mono or stereo cable? You'll need a stereo/TRS cable. Also, DVP4 has internal switches, one of which changes the Aux function from Tuner to Exp. Might want to check to be sure it's set to Exp.

THANK YOU. Yes it's the cable.. THANK YOU

I tried all the dip switches inside and wasted like 4hrs troubleshooting this.

:thumb: haha it happens. Better it be something simple, than an issue with one of the pedals.
