Natgeo tafms ftfw. I almost want to sell mine but it fucking kills with HBs.

Mine has this blue rectangular trimpot with a brass screw...that just spins endlessly and seems to have no effect. Anyone else have this?

yooooo i bet that sounds ridiculous
as for that trimpot, it's a multi-turn pot so it has many rotations before you hit the end of the travel. that being said, it makes a very tiny click (more of a feeling than a sound) when you reach the end. it's easy to dial in a very precise point on the trimpot but obviously makes it impossible to know where it should be set once it has been fucked with.

when yall say a certain version sounded better, is there a reason why? just curious. i imagine that it's pretty rig-dependent but what do i know

I had an older one and a newer one with buffer and gate and I think I could get the same sounds from both but the newer has more range (and gate)

That version is still my favorite looking. Some nostalgia I tell you what.

I read on some other site there might be like, a TAFM, but like, smaller? :idk:

I'm really missing my TAFM and am thinking of flipping my bass fuzz for a new one.

What's up with the current colour choices?
iridescent sparkle with pink/purple print
pink sparkle with white print
sparkle with black print

I'm drawn to the iridescent, but I feel like I should just be safe and go with the black print :idk:

Those new finishes are so good I'm a little tempted to swap mine for a prettier model

But I agree with Dan the old ones looked the coolest... Miss mine.
