Yep, Mrs. John Murphy and her sister are indeed awesome!

I wish they'd get someone other than that dude to do the Rig Rundowns though. (maybe they should have an America's Next Top Rebecca Dirks ?)

From watching his videos, seems like Joe Gore doesn't really like to talk that much.

Probably not the best choice for Rig Rundowns.

Still I'd likely take Joe Gore over that guy.

Maybe Nardwuar? He at least would be enthusiastic and weirdly knowledgeable about obscure trivia.

I don't find Nardwuar annoying at all. To me he is a rabid music "fan" (i.e. fanatic).
And he does deep research and is engaging and able to get people talking (good interviewer).

How a person reacts to a clownish figure says more about the person than the clownish figure.
Check out the Nardwuar interview with Sonic Youth to see what I mean.

I've seen that interview. Nardwuar definitely does his research.

The gimmick outweighs watchability for me.

I could probably watch Kelley Deal all day though.

A few years back I watched some documentary about Kim Deal. It was shot when she
was living in East LA and there were several scenes with Kim & Kelley, talking about
their mom, etc. It was awesome.

Somehow I can't find a link or mention of it online anymore. Strange. Fever dream?
