Quilter 101! I'm super happy with it. Loud as hell and sounds great with dirt pedals. Even if I ever upgrade to a giant tube monster again (which is unlikely) I'll probably keep the quilter around forever.

Nice, I've heard so much good stuff about those I want to try one out at somepoint...

I blew a speaker with it actually. It was pretty stupid actually but luckily my bassist has a spare guitar cab.

I'm happy I get to drink and watch football, and I also painted the enclosure for my PLL clone. I'm happy that it works.

My pedal I thought got swiped off my porch just got mailed to my old address! My old roommate still lives there so it was safe and sound. She did forget to mention that she got it.

And she did open it.

But whatever! I got it!

We're almost at 1,000 pages of happiness, excitement and general contentedness!

(I disposed of that Oxford comma in that phrase.)

She wanted to try it to hear if she wanted to keep it for herself. :D

I've finally finished my Christmas shopping. Took me forever to figure out what to get my girlfriend, but (I think) I've figured out a nice surprise for her. We both agreed recently to not buy gifts in the future besides a small thing and just put that money towards a trip but that didn't help me this year. So finding this one last thing was a huge weight off my shoulders.

After many years of not great gifts, I think I've finally got a good idea for a gift for my mom, an oil painting of a pretty messed up family photo of us (probably the only one that took place in the 21st century). I was originally going to make a painting of my grandparent's old house, but I think she'll appreciate it a lot more, and it makes me happy I might finally have a gift she'll like (as opposed to the big band box set, signed warren zevon book, etc)
