Re: No love for Yamaha?
Picked up one of the new Revstars last year. I was curious about the tailpiece on this one and if it was kind of a trem bar.
It sorta sorta is, but it's pretty tough to press down. Like, it's easier to bend in the neck for that kind of effect. But whatevz.
I've put about 30 hours of play time on this and can say that the quality is pretty great for the money. I'm not sure the way the pull function on the tone knob will be everyone's cup of tea, but I ignore those anyway.

How do the neck and bridge pickups balance in this, volume-wise?Bassist_Diver wrote:Yamaha NBD!

VERY well balanced. The P pickup is a little less pronounced, which I think is due to having poles instead of a blade.kosta wrote:How do the neck and bridge pickups balance in this, volume-wise?Bassist_Diver wrote:Yamaha NBD!

This will go down as a classic but I wanted a thinner neck so I got the one a step below … in red ...Sonaboy wrote:Picked up one of the new Revstars last year. I was curious about the tailpiece on this one and if it was kind of a trem bar.
