Well I just got home from work and there is just so much water pouring out of my ceiling. My clothes, couch, rugs, and fucking everything else are soaked. Things will be ruined. I'd love it if I could just get a fucking break every once in a while.

that's some rough shit man. at least it's raining? i'm so paranoid about how dry it is out here that i'm expecting another fire any day.

in the small scheme of things. i'm rather disappointed with myself, i forgot to say the only thing i mean't to say last night when my band played. our first song is dedicated to everyone who lost someone at ghostship, isn't over having lost their best friend, their mother, their father, a grandparent, their childhood pet, etc. if there's one thing i want people to take away from this band is that we understand pain and that if you're listening. you're not alone.

Worked 26 out of 48 hours this weekend but wasn't aware of 7 of those hours so got woken up just as I was falling asleep resulting in one long weekend. Definitely got hemorrhoids and sitting is a pain in the arse. I haven't had time to put up my Christmas decorations and I am decidedly not "feeling it" this year at all. I am starting to realise that I am not as tolerant as I had thought with the choices I have made in the last few years and can't really stand being around anyone for more than an hour or so these days, find myself having very little patience for other people regardless of how much I care about them and find it extremely difficult to communicate with the people I am particularly close to because they all seem to have their resolutions/answers which I'm really not looking for; it gets really alienating and ends up with a kind of self-imposed ostracisation. I took a bit of comfort in knowing I usually drink a lot more than I currently am, but I think that's only because of the hours I work and isn't actually an accomplishment, and that I would in fact much rather not be entirely sober or awake most of the time.

I might have to give a tenant an eviction notice today. Sigh. Why does this shit have to happen before Christmas? This is such a shitty situation. :(

is making/playing music providing you with an way to calm your mind and balance out a bit? Are you taking time regularly to do something like that that helps you unwind too?

Anything bowel related is miserable. Haemorrhoids are not an exception to that rule. I used to have problems with my intestines too, and it took me a very long time to figure out how to manage my life choices and habits to support a positive and healthy lifestyle focused around that. A lot of it has to do with diet and managing stress/anxiety/depression, as they are directly linked. I don't know if my experience about this is desired, but if it is feel free to PM me and i would be happy to help in any way that is wanted. It can lead to other serious problems if ignored or left not taken care of, which is pretty much the story of most people in my family.

This is a very sweet and thoughtful message, Ibarakishi, but my takeaway from this is that you two are gonna PM about bloody buttholes.

you might think i'm the hero ILF deserves IM, but not the one it needs right now. So you'll hunt me. Because i can take it. Because i'm not your hero. I'm a silent guardian. A watchful protector of all that once had a sore crimson behind in the night...

If there is anyway you two could have that exchange about hemorrhoids in a thread (or here?) instead of PM, that would be great. You have one reader. Ibarakishi is the hero we deserve AND need. So is Olin. The Justice League of Hemorrhoids.

Oh 100%. I'm an advocate of learning. Different remedies work for different people. Think of it like a peer review.
