The way it is now seems like the natural progression, to think it can be done another way, or could have been is naive. Freedom of information gave us an easier way to point out everything is phony and don't believe anything, just turn it off. (Where is the fancy bread? In the heart or in the head?) Where's the mystique and wonder that made the unobtainable charge the soul.

First Youtube starts shoving ads down our throats, but there was adblock.
Then Facebook starts filling the entire fucking universe with their shitty ads that can't be blocked.
And now, finally, Instagram is doing it Facebook style.

Fuck ads. Fuck Facebook/Instagram/Youtube/everything.
If ILF starts doing ads like this, I swear I will set this place on fire.

One of the weirdest things about Youtube ads is apparently (at one time, at least up until recently), the channels/affiliates got more money if you clicked the "Skip Ad" button or x'd out of the little banner ads than if you left them. The reasoning given was that the person watching the video is "interacting" with the ad, so they're paying more attention to it. By desperately wanting it to go away.

I got stuck in my bucket today 25' in the air boomed out I've the side of my truck at work today. I'm not scared to be out there in the bucket but when your boom fails over a busy road with no one else's bucket able to reach you to get you down it's a shirty day. Had to ratchet the boom straight and use the emergency valve to get me down and now my truck is in the shop for the 5th time in 9 months for a catastrophic failure of some sort. I want a new bucket truck but I'm 2nd from the bottom on my team and will be getting bunkers for the next 5-10yrs. 1st world problems I know but I'm frustrated and there is no one to talk to...

bout to puke, got a ragin headache, just spit on some guys truck for driving like an ass backwards in this target parking lot while I was trying to cross with me kid, called em a cocksucker and shoved my finger in his face with my fluffy house shoes on, then while getting my grocery's in the car some big Hawaiian comes up with his girl and frantically says we saw the whole thing are you okay?........"yeah".......then he goes over to the guy with the truck and starts flagin him sayin dont be scared! come here!.
