Today I'm holding a lecture at my former university and the interest is way higher than I expected. My jaws are really sore from stressing out all week about preparing it, but I'm really excited!

Posted a long, vodka soaked thing on facebook the other night talking about my current state of mental health and recent suicide attempt. Got a lot of good vibes from people. It was hard as fuck to post it, but, goddamn it feels good to get it off my chest.

How'd it go? And what was the subject?
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

Just got back from the guitar repair shop. I thought I was going to have to pay for a neck reset, but they said they could fix my action issue with a saddle shave and a setup, so I basically feel like I just got hundreds of dollars.

It went well! I talked about writing political science using regression analysis, arms imports in authoritarian states, and building your own datasets for use in statistics programs. It went well and I'm happy I did it. It's a lecture series on my initiative so I still have to plan for the other ones, but I'm not gonna be the lecturer for those so I hope this will reduce the stress level
