Hey dudes, hope all is well. Just got home from the last day of recording Khemmis album #2. 12 days in the studio. Holy shit. We are all exhausted, but also pumped about this album. Maybe you'll like it. Maybe not. But we're stoked on it all the same.

High five to everyone here with awesome news. I'm going to go sleep forever now.
KHEMMIS. Doomed heavy metal. DECEIVER out 11/19/21 on Nuclear Blast.

GLACIAL TOMB. Misanthropic death/black/sludge. S/t debut out now on Gilead Media.

Good deals with: Ancient Astronaught, conky, crohny, D-Day, Corey Y, ryan summit, tons more here and on HCFX under this username

12 days in the studio.... wish my band could afford that. We can usually only afford 2.

Anyone here have a Pitchfork? I need some octaves in my life and this looks cheaper than the nanopog.

Had one. Wasn't crazy about it. Liked it with Moog Expression pedal though. Have a POG2 now. Like it more but I use it more for attack/filter than I do octave sounds so fuck me.

I loved my pog2 for the swell and filter stuff too but I mainly just need some polyphonic octave down and was wondering if the pitchfork sounded the same as the pog. I could do a micropog but I want that small footprint.

It's a different algorithm. I think it sounds decent. With exp. pedal attached or I momentary modes it's got whammy v sounds. I thought it had some noticeable loss in high end while engaged.

We wouldn't have been able to do it if we hadn't tricked 20 Buck Spin into picking us up in the first place. Also, I hope the album sells well so that they haven't just pissed away the money.

RE: Pitchfork, I haven't used one, but my buddy Grant from In the Company of Serpents uses one for the octave down/quasi-bass half of his rig. I know he's had the MicroPog and the Morpheus Drop Tune and he swears the Pitchfork tracks/sounds better than either of those. FWIW, it sounds massive live in his setup (Baritone -> Pitchfork -> Verellen Meatsmoke -> Ampeg SVT CL -> 2 Atlas 2x15 cabs).

I'm sure it will. I'll definitely be picking up a copy of this one too. That is just what I'm hoping the Pitchfork will do in my rig as well. I gotta try to pick up one as soon as I buy a new phone. Speaking of which, anyone interested in a Crown of Horns? I may be letting mine go to fund it.

Dude, TC Electronics just released a pedal called the Sub N Up. It's got just as good of tracking and has the tone print stuff so you can get POG sounds and all kinds of other goodies, plus it's the size of a nano pog. It's also $129 brand new on sweetwater. I think that's the way to go. I've been hunting down a new octave pedal, too.

I've seen it and it sounds pretty nice. I'm not big on TC Electronics though because if the switch goes out you have to pay them almost 80 bucks just to replace it. That's shitty.

Someone sell me a Pedaltrain with hardshell case. Pls.

Also, doom dudes, what 15s do y'all like? I want something that pairs well with V30s OR something that would pair nicely with WGS ET65s/90s. I want thick tones, no flub. THX.

PS Got rough mixes of album 2. People who only want stoner-y, fuzzed-out Khemmis will probably be bummed. People who want to hear Iron Maiden/70s Priest filtered through YOB and High on Fire will be stoked.
