I got some MP3's from the recording studio with the first round of mixing on our album...so fucking good already. It sounds way beyond what i thought...cant wait for everything to be finished so i can get the final product

Too excited to be useful. After work, I am going straight home and to bed. Getting up at 2:30. Shower, pack some clothes and toiletries, then hit the road. Going over to my girl's house for wine and dinner, drive an hour back, go to work, then go back to bed. She's really excited to cook for me, so I am pretty stoked. I mean, she cooks for a living, so I suspect it will be something special. I'm listening to the mixtape I made her, just to pass the night. Spiritualized is hitting the spot. Life is good.

It was more than I could have hoped for. Lasagna, candlelight, a mixtape she made for the occasion. It took three alarms for me to get up, drive back, and go to work. I miss her already.

So, this is what having my own car means for me. It means that On Wednesday night, I left for work when I felt like it and I was able to leave work Thursday morning when I chose to. It means that Thursday, I could run and get my hair cut without issue. Friday evening, I was able to drive to Oswego and have dinner with my girlfriend. Saturday, I wanted tacos. I didn't have to convince anyone else that tacos sounded good, I just got in the car and drove to Taco Bell. I stopped by Barnes and Noble to read magazines on a whim. When I get off work in 3 hours, I can do whatever I want without inconveniencing anyone. It's huge. My whole world feels bigger and brighter.
