Hey guys! I saw this post and decided to register. I would like to think I had a hand in EnA ( coining it) blowing up a bit. I saw a video of his moomindrone like a year ago and spent, longer than I would like to admit, looking for this pedal. I finally tracked him down and now here he is slinging pedals left and right.

I am really stoked to see him getting the attention his work deserves, if you are hesitant about ordering I recommend you go for it. I am buying another pedal from him right now, and plan on buying the megamoomindrone when it comes out, hopefully.

edit: also one thing i want to stress with the moomindrone with the knobs being on the side. its harder to mess with like that but honestly with the way the knobs interact with one another, one decent hit of the knobs by a careless foot could take you a bit to find "that" setting again. so i think it was a good foresight of alexey to take that into consideration fwiw

Got my stuff today. Made some real quick noise for you. This is just me noodling a bit. No overdubs or knob turning on this one like I usually do.

Oh, man. That made waiting for my Tape so much worse. Great settings and playing!

I'll be getting "the very first The Tape+ featuring the requested "both" modulation setting and also a tempo subdivision button to widen the speed range of the lfo (ringmoddish sounds as well as superlong sweeps)" :joy:

Good news - received the needed ICs and ready to start building the first batch of the Carpets and the first and the last batch of the Glitchers - the very last one is still available.
Bad news - many of my customers had to wait for a veeeery long time for their pedals to be built, this is totally my mistake, never thought I would get so many orders. I am working on a new approach - there will be limited quantities of pedals to be build every month.
Bad news2 - maybe the most important ones - I build pedals at home, just by myself and use some heavily abused old ICs to build them. Thus I cannot provide the large company's quality, durability and resistance to our desperate postal services. I am a very small builder and cannot really afford the refunds - everything goes into business - but what I can do and do - I will always, always help you resolve any issue you have with my pedals. They are not just guitar units, they are my babies. So if you are not satisfied - it is my problem. Anything doesn't work properly - I build a replacement. As I am far from most of my customers, every issue takes time to be solved. I hope you understand this and have no hard feelings torwards me.
You help me a lot, I really appreciate this. I can always discuss the pricing, customisation etc. You have the power to help me build more interesting new pedals. And you also have the power to shut me down forever in a second. So I cannot stress enough how important every one of you here in this topic (already a customer, not a customer yet, doesn't matter) is. And without you I would still be burying people 200 miles north from Moscow dreaming of sharing my ideas with the whole world. I love you, guys. If there is anything I can do for you - just let me know, you know - I always reply.
Thank you very much!

Thank you. Before building pedals I worked as a coffin maker and undertaker. Buried people.

Wow, that's actually really fascinating. I figure you'd rather build pedals, but still...very nobel and out of the ordinary occupation. Respect

Thank you, I loved the job, but it is incompatible with pedalbuilding - 6-7 days a week, a lot of weight lifting, stairs, carrying the coffins through mud and snow etc. Nights shifts after a normal shift at day, 50-100 miles trips a day, talking to people in grief etc. When you come home after this kind of job you don't really think about pedals, more about sleep.

Concerning long build times and making a limited amount per month, I just think the key is to manage people's expectations up front. Most people here probably have ordered built to order custom stuff and know they aren't always quick turnaround times and are ok with it. I have seen lots of builders put something on their ordering pages saying something like "current build time is 3-4 weeks". So right off the bat the customer knows what to expect and that should prevent any "slow" build time complaints. By contrast if you don't disclose your estimated wait time, and a person pays for the pedal and then doesn't hear from you in a month, I would say that person is being reasonable being angry not getting the pedal yet.

Consider your average wait time. Add 20% to it so you have some margin for error.

Deliver early.

How do I put in a deposit for something besides just buying on the website? I need The Carpet but don't have max funds right now.
