yeah I traded in a lot of vintageish gear to get my mother which has been infinitely more reliable. Don't regret it at all.

Recorded again with it yesterday actually. Effortlessly killer bass tone.

Well I think I might have to do something goofy but I might just buy a second cab for no overhang and just make this crazy setup happen.

I really want uniform rig so why not I guess

First recordings with the Shiv. One guitar track is Shiv on the gain channel with a Klon boosting it, the other is a Peavey Envoy. Bass is through the Envoy as well. Minimal EQ on the bass, didn't touch the guitar EQ.

now I've recorded with my mother a couple times I really can't get over how simple it is to make it sound great. Pretty much every time I get to practice and plug it in I'm like 'shit this amp actually makes me enjoy playing'.

Bought a place and moved most of my stuff in over the weekend. Got some amps set up late last night but haven't had a chance to fire anything up. Maybe tonight...
