i love that you're using the phase toggle up and getting those weird octave up tones. :)* :)* :)*

Yeah they really jump out when I throw the gate on for riffage. My bands set ends with me using that and the other guitarist using a mastotron with the subz. Sounds fucking large.

Also I should add that the clean blend rarely blends in a actual "clean" signal, thats why it's so high. SUCH a great feature for working with other dirt pedals (Mini, boxidizer, Sho, RM-1N dirt) and the idea of a fuz without a blend in my rig seems kinda scary to me.

yeah i totally agree about the usefulness. i think too many people are scared that only the clean, completely unaffected tone of their instrument will come through and sound weird and it *can* in the wrong situation for sure but with pedals before something like that you can get some really magical sounds.

This is pretty much my setting on bass (slightly less gain and 'shape'). Shaky octaves on single notes and tasty dissonance on chords. Play single notes when building up the song, engage the gate for crazier sections and add chords to destroy it all. :snax: :!!!:

I just got a Blackout Effectors Fix'd Fuzz Deluxe and I'm not getting on with it at all, I love the rippy velcro sound but it's just too noisy. I still want a fuzz though, will I fare better with the TAFM? I have a SS/BS Fuck and I can't imagine it ever leaving my board.

I run mine after a POG 2 and it gets fierce. Also, using delay after the TAFM with the blend stuff going on makes for some sick separation between the fuzz and clean signals. So dimensional and huge

Saw Battles today. If you've got eyes that sharpen images and want to steal their fuzz toan:

Looks like fuzz at 9, shape at 9, gain at 10:30, toggles up and....something something on the blends

Shout out to the TAFM! I’ve been using mine a ridiculous amount lately. Favorite combo these days is accountant > rubberneck > dunk tank > TAFM. Everything on all the time except TAFM for washy mellow dreams, then TAFM comes in for the meat!
