The Red Miniberators...

We've received our next round of miniberator boxes and these ones have a proper paint job on them, it's durable and totally resistant to rubbing and/or rubbing alcohol!
Over the next couple weeks we'll be getting these out to some stores, first up will be Analogue Haven, then Music Toyz, Ludlow Guitars, The Pedal Head, Vintage and Rare Guitars, and Axe And You Shall Receive.
Once we've had a chance to get some store orders out we'll be happy to make some for any interested ILFers.
Over the next month we'll be getting 3 more finishes in... the rain drop finish, a neat black and green finish, and .... the murdererator.
PS - Yes, the LED changes colour... wouldn't be very radical if it didn't!

WOW that's REALLY SEXY.
i think i might have a serious problem, since my first thought was "i don't care if i already have two, i want that one also"
can't wait to see the murderberator! i can only imagine that it's more macabre then the red & black!
(maybe a sneak preview?? might make a good theme for three certain pedals??....?)

Mines not radical?
Seriously though, those are super cool! I love the 2 color print, super snazzy.

I don't think you could have too many. One for vocals, one for synth and two for guitar (pre and post effects chain).

i've always had a few problems getting vocals into stompboxes...
but synths.... 'I've been wanting to start a thread to address those.
i have a theory that ryan is one of the few who designs his pedals to work well with synths.
and it might be one of the reasons i like Dr.S so much.

Thanks dudes, really glad you dig it! Tanya appreciates it! We thought it would be pretty cool to do an actual red RRR... there aren't many out there that say that or that are even red.
In less than a few weeks or so we'll have the 3 other finishes here and then we'll start mixing up the batches and sending out some variations. What we've done is pre-order 500 drilled boxes in 4 batches of 125. We figured it would be a lot more fun if we finished each batch differently. Soon as we're through these we'll arrange the next batches and do them in new finishes too!
I think we're in good hands now too, Nychy. They've been really quick to respond to the problems we've had and I think these red boxes are top notch, they look great and the ink is properly strong.
Humandrivein, we're shooting to have pedals in the mail to Ludlow next week actually.. we're just in the middle of a batch of hand-finished pedals for them and I think I'll be able to talk Jan into a miniberator or two also.
Thanks again!

I do love synths, Kev! I wouldn't say I specifically design with them in mind but I always use the same input buffer block and it just gets along well with nearly everything. Full frequency range, no tone shaping, relatively high impedance in and low out, simple and clean path... it sets the circuits up to play nicely with basses or synths. Synths are flippin cool... any Depeche Mode fans around here? I think everything I know about synths and reverb I learned from those guys.
