Since the progress with the miniberators hasn't been progressing like we'd like, we figured we'd get the ball rolling with a special limited edition introductory offer.

We're going to do 25 hand-finished miniberators in the popular and rare Off The Air-berator finish with black hardware and a colour change LED. The price is going to be $260 USD and that includes your choice of a t-shirt and world-wide shipping. These will be available direct through us on a first come first served basis and we've already started making them so they'll have a lead time of only a week or so. These are the only hand-vinyled miniberators we plan on doing, just as a special treat to the early adopters and to kick off the minis with something fun.

Where do you get those color-change LEDs? Do you have to do anything extra to the circuit to make it change?

I like the tees. Reminds me of The Cramps logo, I think. I'd wear one of them if I had the cash. A large. So that I can wear it and it'll be super baggy and I'll be totally k00lz. PM me if you wanna send me one free for advertising purposes or something maybe. Ehh?

Nychy, the colour change LEDs are just a special kind of LED with a teeny little micro on board. They come in fast and slow versions, we only use the slow, and they come in 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm. They're a littler pricier than a regular LED but no biggie. I only use the slow 5mm ones as all the other ones I've tried have noise that bleeds into the signal, either a weird slow sweep noise or fast ticks... but the 5mm ones are dead silent in all situations.

PickMe, those are nice knobs for sure and we kicked around the idea of using small knobs on the minis but felt the full size knobs look better. The screen printed boxes are still being waited on, we have two companies doing two different finishes for us now so hopefully in the next couple weeks one of them gets something done for us and we can start making the regular versions of the minis.

Magnus, sorry again for the disappointing news and just to be clear for everybody who's curious, we're not doing any custom finishes for these... it's Off the Air or bust!
