Hi guys, sorry for not postin

Been thinking about getting a soundhole pickup for my acoutic guitar. I got the idea of getting a lipstick and a holder for it to kinda dampen a dano convertible itch. Has anyone got any idea how worth it it would be over just getting a cheap soundhole pickup. I've got the feeling the convertible vibe is more in the cheap masonite body not resonating properl

:hello:

I used to have an old Danelectro Convertible. It resonates well enough. Well enough to create some nice feedback. :thumb: It's definitely not a full acoustic and isn't very loud when played acoustically, but still sounds acoustic-y. Masonite body certainly contributes to the overall vibe though.

You should definitely get a lipstick soundhole pickup! :hello:

seems like i've seen photos of one at some point. it seems like it wouldn't be impossibly difficult to fabricate a mount from pieces of Lucite if you have a Dremel or the like.
