ESP XTone series. why has nobody ever talked about these?

Image

personally aside from the Xtone and LTD on the head, this seems like a right perdy guitar.

i mean, offset AND semi-hollow is something thats pretty hard to come by these days. wonder if anyone has played these and/or secretly wanted one but wouldn't buy it because its ESP

I think it looks fucking swell except for the gold hardware.

Honestly, I've never heard or seen one until now...

i like the gold hardware because it ages better than silver.

tarnished gold > all other finishes of all time

There is something about the shape of the body that I don't like.
For that type of guitar, I prefer the Guild Bleusbird/Blues 90 (wish they where still available).

I was thinking the opposite. Especially on something as classy as this. Gold hardware tends to turn to shit unless you take great care of it.

I believe Hagstrom makes something similar. Hmm, maybe it's not as offset as I thought.

I like it. Reminds me of that Yamaha Wes Borland model I was into until I heard it cost thousands.

No, I do not like Limp Bizkit.

Here's a pic:
(please don't mind the lack of pots and switches/ the big cut out area... it's still in the works)

I know. But it's fucking crazy money for a Yamaha. Endorsed by Wes Borland.

I would likely snap a budget edition up if they made one.

I like the body shape but the hardware, colour, inlays and headstock are rubbish... That Yamaha Wes Borland thing is kinda nice too, never seen it before.
