From the first couple pics it looks like it needs a refret. Not sure if it's just the pics, but that would definitely be something to look at before buying.
To be honest, I'd pass unless you're reallllly into it. And if that's the case, talk them down. You know they only paid $300 for it, so they've got wiggle room.
