i know it's boring in Pocatello, but who knew that they're so bored in Boise that they come up with shit like this? and wouldn't it be easier just to buy a fucking resonator guitar for acoustic slide/steel/whatever?

yeah, i think i'd rather perch a dobro face up like the hardcore 'bros than try to deal with that angled platform thingy - and it would cut a 1000x sharper in a mix....

a flat-top 10-string acoustic stand-up steel guitar is several bridges too far. and yes, one of my first thoughts was "who's going to be able to hear you?"

what pickups were in there before homeslice decided to go all J.J. Cale on it?
i'll bet that was a nice guitar before he cocked it up.

Really ran the gamut.
Suspect it was whatever they had lyin' around at the time the guitar was built. As production went on, they got cheaper and cheaper.
