Cool board. Post the dimensions or the PedalTrain you used.

Normally use a loop controller but that board doesn't look too tapdancy and has a huge variety of sounds on it.

ryan, don't use effects to smooth the edges. when i find myself looking for that i find that it's a good time to not use reverb or delay at all and pay a lot of attention to my own amp at practice. it's a practice moment and you can do it. i'm not a good guitar player at all really, but i've tried really hard to use those moments when they pop up to focus on my short comings and try to fix them. i'll turn my back to everyone and stand with my face in my own amp and try to really hear where i'm sloppy and work on it. like we'll play a song and everyone will be all "that was great!" and i'll be like, "can we do that one more time?". i don't make everyone do it over and over, but work on it a couple of times. and practice at home. seriously, if i can play anything in the world without flubbing the shit out of it, you definitely can. but like was said before, heavy ass delay isn't going to help, but reverb might. as far as delay that sounds awesome with dirt and speed and shit: disaster transport. it's the fucking shit. foot switchable modulation too, which is killer. great sounding simple pedal with great controls on real knobs.

when i read that first line
i asssumed i wasnt clear and confused shit
im definately not about smoothing my tone
but when i read the rest of your post
absolutely right on and almost right where im at now
ive been realizing relying on the delay
has been fogging out alot of changes i try
in turn i dont let myself experiment as much as i should
now that we got the bass player i actually tun the delay off alot now
not being solely responsible for the rumble is nice
and brought my delay issue to light
the functions of the delaylab that tuned me on
to give the effect of another instrument playin along
is completely unneccessary at this point
when it was just me and my lack of dynamics i needed help
i think its become a hindrance at this point
i got an alesis nanoverb that i have to tweak a bit
and i was thinkin of swappin the Dlab for a flashbackX4
but ive always been bonererd for a ghost disaster
now im kinda up on the idea of a simple double dirge
instead of a stereo delay where both channels are locked up
just two delays in one box
that timefactor would be perfect at a 1/4 of the price

also your thing about practicing
after we play somethin dope
i m like damn i wishd id play blahblah instead
so im doin that same thing
not just thinkin
but actually stand there and play it
so when it comes up again i play what i shouldve
practicing on my own...well ill get there

cheers bud...its a pedal train 2...so: 24x12.5x2.5 inches

its not tapdancy at all...to be honest i don't use any effect when i have dirt on, except the wah pedal. All those delay, verb and phase are used on clean and one at a time...so very simple really.

You all have some absolutely gorgeous boards and it is definitely making me GAS hard. Once I get my new amp paid for, I will definitely be snagging a few things I have seen on here. Currently I am running a RAT> Hail Satan>Mr. Black Downward Spiral> Ritual clone. Next thing to snag is a good Reverb and Delay.

I've been thinking about picking up a Hail Satan. It's one of the cheaper/sweeter looking Muff Clones out there.

My dirt is covered by a Rat Tail and a Demon King.

the Quantum Mystic copping HM-2 tones has my interest piqued but it's hard to find that space on my board without moving some things around and maybe picking up a PT mini or using my spare PTJr and running two boards.

Yeah the Quantum Mystic has my interest piqued as well, my board has plenty of room so I don't have to worry about filling it up anytime soon. I built it a quite a bit larger than I needed it to be. The hail satan is pretty damn sexy sounding, I love the extra led gain stage.

I've been attempting to decide between redoing my whole board/buying new stuff and going to something pretty similar to this for bass, bass vi, guitar, and keys. I may have to make it happen

Hi all, a long time lurker making his first post :)

This is my pedalboard I've been working on a while, and it's almost* done I think

Image

Chain is Rat->Wampler Leviathan->EHX Knockout->crappy ass volume pedal->EHX cathedral->Barber LTD SR->digitech PDS 8000->Seppuku FX Memory loss->El capistan->digitech timebender->Eventide space-> amppsss

*would be true except for the fact that you simply cannot "finish" a pedalboard

EDIT: Hello Santa, so you stalked me all the way to my first post huh? You deserve a quite easy one then:
