Super Overdrives pretty much gotta be dimed - the tone control is useless and they're not that high gain or output - they sound pretty good like that. The ODB3 isn't too high gain either. Plus it's metal to dime stuff :animal:

I don't mind the sound of the ODB-3 but I find it's a bit hard to deal with if you roll the treble above noon.

My preferred settings (mind you, on a guitar and after a green muff) are volume slightly above unity, bass @ 3pm, mix @ half, treble and gain dimed. Shit is huge.
