My first custom amp purchase... a Steamboat Ampworks Steamroller. 100 watts, 1x15" cab, 1970s Dodge car interior naugahyde covering.

Traynor YBA-1 into 412 and Quilter 101 into 115.
Sounds rad!

I really dig this rig. I want to get a 1x15 cab to go with my Orange 412 for all the playing live I do.

I'm really happy with this setup. Been running 2 412s for a while, but this gives me the same oomph and takes less space in our studio, and doesn't get as tall when stacking the cabs.

The 115 is a re-built Selmer 212 with an old Altec Lansing 15 in it.

Do you use the Traynor and the Quilter live? Use both in the record?

The plan is to use both live and when recording. I have an Ampeg V4 as well, but I'm trying to sell it and use the Quilter instead.
The V4 is so damn heavy, that it is impossible for my skinny arms to lift it on top of a full stack.

Is that Andreas' old repurposed Selmer? I might have fondled it in that case ;-)

Snagged this at work yesterday for 40 bucks...now to find a cab with lots of tiny silver speakers.

^ I've got one of those! Great amp, plenty of power, nice eq and tone shaping options, and you can dial in a nice amount of oomph/growl.

Was planning on selling mine, since I don't play bass in a band anymore. But if 40 bucks is all it's currently worth, I'll just keep it around

awesome, thanks for the info. still trying to locate a cab lol.
well i think i got it for a steal--he listed it low because of some scratchy pots etc., but on reverb it's showing around average selling price of about 200?
