indeed! You have a top 3 and why those are top 3? Also, is there something particular you look for in a dirt pedal?
In no particular order:
- Earthbound Audio Throat Locust (IMHO the best Boss HM2 clone/derivate out there, so sad Mark has stopped business, but I reached him out few weeks ago, and he found a blue b-stock box, so I'm getting a third one

- MASP Epilepsy (this is totally berserk.... totally uncontrollable mayhem of fuzz and noise: total love for this one!)
- Lastgasp Art Laboratories 046 Sooper Fuzz (super cool take on the Univox Superfuzz, it has a very cool mid grind, also when the mid scoop in engaged, and if oyu push the gain noise... noise galore!)
What I look in a dirt pedal is normally, be able to push the low-end, lots of volume and gain available on tap, and be synthesizer friendly (many guitar pedals just don't cope very well with line levels, then you have to push up the volume quite a lot).
