I regularly jam with a guy that uses a Pignose G60 and I'm surprised to say it sounds awesome. He drives it with just a Tubescreamer and he sounds really good.

Re: Let's see your AMP!
It's a great cheap amp, I would probably not pay $500 for it but I got it for cheap so.. It's a peavey copy so if you like old SS Peaveys you'd probably like it.JonnyAngle wrote:What are your thought on that earth? I’ve heard good and bad
I prefer to use it on guitar, the normal channel gives a good ''cranked tube amp'' kinda sound and the distortion channel sound pretty awesome on guitar too, distorted and almost fuzzy sound. You add a bit of reverb and you're good to go IMO
Here's a shitty soundclip I posted this summer, single-coils - reverb pedal - Earth - Weber attenuator - roland interface. Distortion channel, distortion all the way up, volume really low.
The reverb pedal is kind of hard to tame so there's a shitload of it in this but, also the attenuator was most likely all the way down so it might choke the sound a bit but yeah you can get an idea...

For bass the clean is good but I'm having a hard time getting a distorted sound that I love, I prefer the ampeg in general but especially on bass. The fact that I still haven't played loud without the attenuator might not help
tldr: Great cheap amp, like peaveys and traynors. If you can get one for cheap go for it !
I've come to a point where I don't see myself getting rid of any of these 4 in the picture.

Re: Let's see your AMP!
have all my amps set up in my music room (shared with a bit of the kids toys), so a good opportunity to take some pictures
the Matamp is only running into the 4x12...the white 1x15 cab under the Matamp head is for the Acoustic 150 head.

I have this one and while I like it I remember it not taking pedals well ...gnomethrone wrote:

I use it as a clean platform with pedals so no complaints here. One thing is that it doesn't love being blasted with my BAT pharaoh the way a tube amp does but that makes sense since the pharaoh is really just for beating up tubes anyway I guess. Other fuzzes sound good with it though. What kinda pedals did you try to use with yours?
