I'm still amazed there are people who actually don't see anything wrong with him referring to other nations as shitholes. Short minded fuckwits can't seem to fathom the ripple effect this will cause in international politics and how many nations will now no longer want to be associated/receive aid from the US. Cthulhu knows Russia, China, etc. will be more than glad to fill the gaps left by our orangutan in chief and the inevitable isolationism will bite us in the ass.

It's that magic mixture of racism and nationalism, where he thinks every country that isn't predominately white and affluent is shitty and terrible, but that the USA is better than all the other mostly white, affluent countries. Which is, by pretty much every measurable metric, objectively not true (regardless is you think America is "the best" for some ephemeral philosophical reason). Presumably, according to the immigration policies he's been pushing, he thinks the average immigrant should be better educated and more wealthy than the average American. His concept of immigration seems to be viewing it something like venture capitalism where the immigrant is investing in country, instead of the country investing in the immigrant.

Humanity doesn't have a rock bottom, so far. We got the leader we deserved, the guy is this country's cultural id come to life. The idea of "presidential" being some high standard for decorum and respectability became just a quaint notion when he got elected. Presidential describes what a president does and this is now the standard.

Trump may actually end up being a good thing for America in that his stupidity and doucheness are beyond what’ve seen. Perhaps people can put aside their political differences and all agree he and people like him are truly assholes and we as a country need to get away from

I don't think the US government has the budget to pay for searching through the number of times people type his name on the internet, in connection to insults and threats. Perhaps there's a city size AI computer deep under a mountain or lake they can put on it. Should be able to sort the first 6 months of last year by the next election.
