Finally finished Regular Show.
Started Over the Garden Wall. Even though I already know what's going on, it's an interesting show.
Being able to recognize all the little clues actually helps me "get" the show, though.

Loving it. Great writing, acting, directing. And serial killers aren't generally in my zone of interests.

It Might Get Loud is great. Jack White is as pretentious as you would expect, but kind of fun. Edge's studio space is an amazing clusterfuck. And Jimmy Page is Jimmy Page-ing all over the place.

Just watched It Follows. As a very non-horror person, it was good and creepy, but frustrating at times. Watched it because of the Disasterpiece score, which is incredibly effective.

Hahaha, yeah, and I also got the impression that Jack thought he was the frontman of this "band". I was surprised to find The Edge so experimental. Certainly haven't heard that in U2's music, before. It was nice to see them a bit more punk, in the beginning, though.

It Follows? Nah, I was quite disappointed by it.

Is anybody watching The Deuce? It's made by the guy who made The Wire, which I've yet to watch. The story is really starting to come together here 6 episodes in + it's probably the show with the best music ever, I mean, this is in the intro:

I have stayed the fuck away from It Might Get Loud because it just seemed like a dumb contrivance to me. But if everyone else here recommends it I might give it a go.

Whenever I think of the Edge, I think back to him showing his massive rack setup to Dave Kendall on 120 Minutes back in Achtung Baby days. It was the first time I had ever seen any sort of professional musicians rig and it looked very complicated and scary to me.

I should re-watch It Might Get Loud; it would probably be a very different experience. I loved it when it first came out and I will always be a huge Zeppelin fan, but I'm not exactly a huge Jack White fan anymore and I have a feeling I'd be more interested in some of the Edge's crazy rack setups now.

It Might Get Loud was probably what first got me interested in effects pedals after watching both The Edge and Page (also, the film came out right around the time that I first started playing guitar, at which point I was mainly listening to Jack White's work more than anything else).

Haters Back Off season 2 starts today on Netflix. The first season was terrible. Season 2 should be equally abhorrent.

Is that on a streaming service? I watch the first season on Hulu and liked it. I had to take a few breaks, as it got kind of relentlessly bleak.

Watched Good Burger again last night. Dumb, fun, nostalgic: perfect pick-me-up.
