Damn! Yours is like minty fresh though with original looking speakers. I have some ripped vinyl and replacement speakers. Although the guts of mine are pretty much minty fresh.

That is one beautiful Plush man! That made my day. These are really special amps. :thumb:

I've started to go back through the thread from page one. WOW! You guys have some awesome gear. I feel like I'm looking at porn while my wife is sitting on the couch.

I'm going to save the rest of this thread perusing while I'm alone.

Thanks man. Yeah, it is in quite good condition, only has one button on the fabric missing! I'm pretty sure it sat in a storage unit for over 30 years or so.

The sparkly stuff is still very pretty, tough. ;)

One button!!!! I have at least 3 gone. Nice. The win with mine besides being unbelievably clean is that I didn't pay a penny for it. My former employer let me have it because it didn't work. I put a new fuse in it and viola. :omg:

What is the Diabolical like? How much do those go for?

I like the clips I found on their page. Is it kind of Electric Amp/MatAmpish?

It is built by the same guy that builds all the Electric Amps so there is a family tone sort of. I had him build this one using 6V6 power tubes instead of EL84. Here's what the different channels and settings do.

Channel 1 lo with boost turned counter clockwise = Dark, thick vintage Orangish or Matamp tone
Channel 1 hi with boost turned counter clockwise = Dark, thick vintage Orangish or Matamp tone overdriving a bit
Channel 1 lo with boost turned clockwise = Dark, thick vintage Orangish or Matamp tone overdriving pretty solidly but with good note definition
Channel 1 hi with boost turned clockwise = Dark, thick almost Electric Amp grrr territory but obviously at lower volume levels.

Channel 2 lo with boost turned counter clockwise = Beautiful Fendery clean with good solid bass definition
Channel 2 hi with boost turned counter clockwise = Sort of a Bassman tube breakup overdrive tone again with solid bass definition
Channel 2 lo with boost turned clockwise = Getting into a Marshallesque sounding overdrive but still somewhat chimey note definition
Channel 2 hi with boost turned clockwise = I'd go with a Marshallesque overdrive here.

Didn't realize it was the same guy who builds Electric Amps....that is a definite positive....I have heard people say that Electric Amps have build quality that is as good as anything out there.

What do they charge for an amp?

Are any of the models single channel?

I don't know what the price is for the standard combo. Mine was a custom build so I wouldn't know what to tell you as far as their standard pricing goes. Mine was about $1600 delivered to my door with my choice of tube brand.

I don't think they offer a stock single channel but if you contact them talk to John McNeece. He does all designing and building. He could easily design a version of the amp with a single channel for you.

The build quality is every bit as good as it is with my Electric Amps.

I, too, am playing out of a plush right now...I picked up the P1000s for $125 a few months back and I've been digging it. playing through an old fender 2x12 closed back cab. nom.

also, sunn concert lead for ugly punk rock sounds (paired with a duo sonic). that acoustic 150 had something burn out in the output stage and needs a new power cable. I'll probably be using that for keys/loops.
