Re: = Introduce Yourself =
Hi Everyone,
One year ago, I joined a band for the first time since high school (I just turned 30). For the most part, I relied on and learned much from the GeekChat forums and am still active there, but it seems less active and a little less aligned with my taste than I <3 Fuzz and the Devi forum, so I've been more active there lately. I also read ShortScale and Offset a bit, but haven't started posting there yet.
I was wondering what the preferred method of attaching photos is on this forum. I've been doing them as attachments, but it seems everyone else might be using another method.
Thanks!

my name is Anthony. 23 years old. Played guitar casually since grade 8, my main instrument was always drums. Finally started to get more into guitar this year. Really into old crusty bands and shoegaze bands.

Hello!
I'm Josh and (obviously) new to the forum. I have an incredible pedal itch that I can't seem to scratch, so in true materialist fashion I've acquired enough of them to want to talk about them. I have a few Devi Ever fuzzes, some classic clones, and a few insanely-cheap-yet-usable sound fuckers.
My band Candy Warpop is currently recording, so I hope to have some of our songs available shortly. Sort of Bauhaus-meets-JAMC-meets-Stooges-meets-Joan Jett. In my completely biased opinion, we sound okay!
Anyway, nice to meet you all. Forgive me if I make any fuck pas while I'm here.

I am Scott.
I like to play the guitar.
It's an Ibanez.
I like to make weird guitar sounds, but I also like to make my guitar sound really nice.

Hello I am Ben,
Was not bright enough to post on the introduce yourself thread till right now.
Been playing guitar for over 15 years now (more if I really think about it but didn't really get addicted till I heard Bad Religion - Recipe for Hate)
I am an office scrub by day, probably at work right now!
Own and have owned piles of pedals, love single channel amps.

Hello, 'been eeLick before... long ago, and from time to time I find myself there/him again. A nice place like this is ideal for me to be me... this me, at any rate.
Long time, as I said, with great ambitions never realized... but maybe now, with the the time and patience to be eeLick again. Here, better eeLick than old Err, Eric, dad. Not the best (though not the worst) place to be dad. Biologically, I am getting pretty old... not as old as Blind Willie Johnson now, but older than he was when he did what he did. Shit, I'm in the 98th percentile for age (and 70th for bald) of fuzz users, even if I am as callow a player as the youngest, newest players here.
So I bought myself another guitar just three or four years ago, after the great tragedy of the neglected Silvertone of my youth. The wife and kids demand the lion's share of my free (?) time, so I figure I have been really really at it for a year and a half. I practice in my car twice a week while I wait for NYC's alternate side of the street parking.
And on Friday nights, I drive 100 miles, to the site of the Woodstock festival - no shit, all true - where I have two amps and pretty much all my noise machines, and where I can play loud. I was lucky to find a relatively cheap Fender Twin, even at 3 (out of 10) and especially with something like a Soda Meiser, real loud. The wife and kids, never mind the neighbors, couldn't take that.
In something approaching a real life, I make movies... documentaries mostly... about writers mostly... science fiction writers mostly, like Kurt Vonnegut and Tom Disch and others.
Anyway, pleased to meet you.
