i haven't read through any of the 40+ pages of this, so please forgive me if you guys have already discussed any of this, but has anyone tried the ps3 crack yet? looks pretty amazing considering sony will never be able to fix it short of a huge product recall and all.

i have a cracked wii and it's the most amazing thing ever. backing up wii games is great and all, but my favorite part is the emulator capabilities. being able to play all my old snes and genesis games at the drop of a hat without all the annoying setbacks that cartridge consoles bring is a total breath of fresh air. i have no experience using emulators on a computer, but it's totally great being able to save at literally ANY point through out ANY game - no more worrying about playing 2/3 the way through a world and having it be for naught! i can watch dvds on the wii now too.

it's the 3rd wii mod i've used. i had a wii keyed wii when they first developed the wiikey, but it totally sucked. having to burn the games and just hope that the iso was flawless, and also having to prey to dog that you had the right kind of cd-/+ r or whatever sucked. that thing now resides in my ex-girlfriend's brother's house. sucks pretty bad considering i paid for it but whatever. then the the wii i currently have was first modded using indiana pwns, which was ok, but pretty limited. the current crack i'm using - i had to do a bunch of stuff with .wads and trecha and a bunch of other shit that i don't understand but was able to follow directions to pull off.

if anybody has a wii and gives enough of a shit to get it modded/have every wii game/every game for every system pre-original xbox (yes, there's a ps-1 emulator i guess)/be able to watch dvds blah blah blah and wats to invest in and send me an external hard drive and sd card- i'll mod it for you, format the hard drive for you and transfer the 20 or so games that i have onto it, then also transfer all the channels/emulators/games i have or that you want for like, $60. so basically, if you own a wii and a hard drive and an sd card, you could have unlimited everything for a one time investment of $80 including shipping.

this isn't spam, i'm just talking about how badass console cracks are, and offering to spread the wealth if anybody wants it.

Zombies are never not awesome.

Also, dead kids. It has everything you could want.

that was so fucking sad. :(

You want sad, got to GT and watch the remixed version where the timeline plays in forward motion in sequence.

no need to be sad. the game is based around those characters being immune to the virus. i can't wait till it comes out. i've been waiting forever.

also, is it lame that i sort of want to invest like a grand into rock star right now, so that like the day after or two days after the next grand theft auto comes out, i can easily triple my investment?

speaking of, i wonder when the next GTA is going to happen. it seems like it's been forever since IV came out.

they're still designing it, mostly putting their efforts into LA Noir and Red Dead 2, my friends other half is a designer for Rockstar North and is working on character designs for RD2 right now...

also just completed God Of War 1. jesus that was stressful

oh man, my first time playing any god of war series, i played all the way through it in like 4 days then was literally one hit away from beating the final boss - you know when he's standing there flailing waiting on you to do the combo to finish it? anyway, the game had a glitch and wouldn't let me finish it off. it wasn't frozen or anything, as i could still run around or whatever. he just stood there flailing and i couldn't do anything. pissed me off so bad.

anybody play sports games? this year's ncaa football was outstanding, but it's missing some key elements that old titles have. i feel like they should really create some DLC like uniforms (it'd be nice to play using every pro combat uniform if you'd like), new, evolving commentaries because hearing the same 12 sentences over and over sucks, and maybe be able to download real-time rankings to make the game more realistic in quick game mode. it would also be really nice to be able to have some shots of coaches on the sideline and in the press box, am i right? maybe give the gamer more control in dynasty mode, like give the option to raise funds and carry out stadium upgrades or design your own uniforms or build your own plays. some of the old titles had a design your own play feature, but i never took advantage of it.

does anybody know how to reach the developers at EA? i sent an email about all of this stuff to customer service and they allegedly forwarded it, but i never heard back. i feel like this stuff wouldn't be hard to implement, so if anyone can help me find some contact info, i would really appreciate it!

If no one mentioned this yet,

go to: http://www.gaikai.com/

Wait for pop up flash thing. You can play the Mass Effect 2 demo in your browser, without downloading anything. Nuts.

Playing NFS hot pursuit...fun enough, but really why can't they just fucking do another most wanted? That was the best game in the series.

I love in most wanted how there was sorta a story (some asshole jacked your ride, being hounded by an asshole cop)...
and there were "boss" racers who would give up pinks after you beat them, netting you a fully customized/unique ride.

Adding car mods and silly decals was half the fun.
I also dug how the game got harder and harder if you used the same car too much, each car had a notoriety level. Use a car too much and the police will run you off the road in seconds.

This time around you just pick from a limited number of cars, pick a color, and race. Get in first, get more xp. Get enough xp level up. Level up to...unlock achievements and rank up your 4 weapons/devices.
Everything is dumbed down. The hot pursuit missions are intense, but it's just race/race/race/race with no real motivation.
I like how each car is unique, but certain cars are just flat out better. I used the Bugatti Veyron for most of the racer campagin, and I've done half of the cop campaign with the Ford Shelby GT500.

Dragon Age 2 sitting on my desk but I think I'm going to plug in the baritone and my pharaoh for some DropA :excellent:
