Gotta love this middle period(?) Dissecting Table that is like an amalgamation of extreme metal and industrialized techno. Earlier moody stuff was also great and some of the later pure noise. have you folks been following the "hit em" phenomenon? Drew Daniel from Matmos posted on Twitter about a dream where he met a girl at a rave who told him about the new genre "hit em," comprised of 212 BPM, 5/4 time, and "super crunched out sounds." this led to electronic music folks from all over the world inventing their own interpretation of the criteria. it's worth a Twitter or Google search; there might be stuff on YouTube as well.
