Re: HEXE
I'm gonna get bumper stickers made up that read "My other car is a Walrus Audio Descent".
I'll send one to you, lordgalvar.
Good luck with the sale, pentagrimes.

Re: HEXE
So I'm missing the point, or is the Revolver DX basically a II with extra DT modes, or will the DT and II also be worth hunting down separately if you have a DX?

Re: HEXE
I still think the Revolver II is the best because I don't care for those speed up and slow down modes, I wouldn't use any of those.
The extra time on the Revolver DX and DT is cool though, and the footswitchable modes on the DX seem really cool too.
Basically what I would like is a combination of features from the Revolver I, II and DX but the Revolver II is the closest to my preference.
The difference is in the modes, the II has more different random modes while the DX has those speed up and slow down modes.

Re: HEXE
Yea, I personally think the II would be the most useful. I never use anything close to one second and the random modes would be fun. The speed up and slow down and reverse of the dt are fun to create weird rhythmic looks.
DT and DX seem the same except for the way you switch modes. II is more random. I think you could find a use for all three if you really love the glitch, but a II and DT (or DX) would compliment each other well. Dx will probably be easier to get a hold of than the DT though.

Re: HEXE
The DX seems cooler anyway because it has the footswitchable modes.
If you're so inclined you can also just get a Revolver II with a momentary Vario and you can do all those speed up slow down things as well.
Personally I'd get a latching Vario though, I think that's way more useful.

Re: HEXE
That speed up/slow down mode might be worth the $400 alone to me. Holy shit that's is such a cool effect I would abuse.
