Nice build! Yeah, you don't get much pitch bend with the delay time set short. The warp function drops the delay time to minimum, so if it's already set pretty short, there's not much to "expand" back to, if that makes sense.frodog wrote:This Neptune is the best delay I've built so far, excellent seasick warp function. Very quick delay times are not possible though, maybe because the warp doesn't work in that range, but I don't usually live in that area anyway.

Amazing!! Want!
What are the "Lube" knobs though? And those diodes??? "M(other)F(ucking) GE(rmaniums)" ?
Thanks for the explanations !!!digi2t wrote:

"LUBE" is the Reutz mod. I borrowed the term from Beavis Audio. It's a 1K pot in series with the 47 ohm resistor in the feedback gain part of the circuit. A softening agent if you will. Full CCW is stock, and the "Lube" goes up from there.
The diodes are Russian D18 germaniums. "MF GE" = MOSFET/Germanium clipping inside of the feedback loop. That switch also offers LED feedback clipping, or nothing (stock) in the middle position.
Plus that curlicue flex. Serious woah.Dandolin wrote:those bigass diodes are hawt
