Hey there, I'm Robert.

I play guitar in a fairly mediocre fashion, but with gusto . . . :whateva:

I usually hang around the BYOC forum, and the Circuit Workshop forum, so some of you know me already.

I'm in a band, Los Monster Trucks, but we haven't got any recordings done yet or played out. I was in a band called Post Method - you can find us around the internets and on Rhapsody and whatnot, but we weren't very good, and you can get the album for free here: http://nagodadesign.com/postmethod/album/

My guitars are: Fender American Deluxe Strat HSS, Custom Tele, Fender 50's Classic Player Strat (MIM), Agile AL3000M Thru-Neck, Yamaha RGX something or other, Alvarez AD-60CK

My amps are: Fender Twin Reverb ('74), Lectrolab R700C, HiLo 3-watt, Various old Harmony tube amps, Ampeg R-50H, Marshall Vintage Modern 2266, Traynor YCV40, Epiphone Valve Junior, Fender Blues Junior, Fender Blues Deluxe, Crate PowerBlock (as well as a dozen or so other junky solid-state items), Crate V5, and so on . . .

My pedals are too numerous to list, but the ones I use are all hand-built by me (fuzz, OD, and boost, normally).

I like beer, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. And bicycles.

That is all. Looking forward to chatting.

Hi, my name is Andrew.

I'm 20 and living in Australia. I am learning how to make Prosthetics, but primarily I make Orthotics for Podiatrists around Sydney. Most of my money goes to music stuff, everyone has a geeky hobby.

Musically, I love lots of music ranging from Post-Rock to Death Metal to some Electronica.

That's all I have.

Hey all :surprise:

I'm James, 29 from Australia. Been playing bass for the last 6 years or so and was a guitarist on and off through my teens before that. I've been working in telecommunications engineering (Wifi, 3G, fibre etc) for 11 years or so and completing an electrical / electronic engineering degree on the side.

I hang out on a few other forums (Ozbass, Talkbass, Physics Forums, DIYstompboxes, freestompboxes) under the usernames KK25, Karatekid25 or James R.

I love fuzz, electronics, bass gear, bong hits and PS3.

Hey man, welcome to the board! I dunno if you were aware but here at ilf its customary for newly joining builders to give a pedal to the first person who welcomes them as a sign of good faith. So on behalf of the everyone here at ILF I will graciously accept one of your fine MKIII pedals.

hi, folks. my name is Bob. i became aware of this forum via the devi ever forum and the fuzzhugger site. i'm fifty-three years old, and have been playing the guitar since 1970. i've done all kinds of weird shit in my musical lives, from singer/songwriter stuff to acoustic free music with the guys who became Ken Vandermark's first Quartet to jam-band rock to ambient DJing at raves and Burning Man pirate radio. nowadays my main interest is the material i've been working on forever, which i like to describe as a cross between Neil Young and Crazy Horse, My Bloody Valentine, and Hot Tuna circa the Yellow Fever LP. I'd also like to get involved in a pure noise project, though, especially something that involved oscillating fuzz combined with crunched techno beats. i loves me some fuzz...i have some new boxes coming in next week that i'm looking forward to talking about, not to mention seeing what kind of sick racket they evoke from the Truly Beautiful Disaster. :yay:
