Re: The what ever thread...
A part of me can't help but think that is really awesome because of how ridiculous the idea is and how well done it is. It has a sort of Ted Nugent-esque over the top quality to it. Otherwise, I'm pretty apathetic, because I'm certain he plays it in some silly southern-rock band that plays at least one Lynard Skynard cover per show.

On a different note, does anybody know how to get fabric & upholstery cleaner out of one's mouth without ingesting it?

Re: The what ever thread...
That reminded me of those Orbitz commercials "Dirty Mouth?"
I'm trying to get beer stains out of a tan carpet in my room. The other night I knocked a beer over but grabbed it in mid-air so there's just a bunch of little brown spots(I know I should've gotten it right away before it set). I then scratched my chin/mouth area and a few moments later licked my lips. Then I started to notice this weird chemical taste in that side of my mouth and started getting really paranoid. I had already washed my hands, so I know I'm just being ridiculous. I thought "What can I do to wash out my mouth? Wash my mouth...Wash...Mouth...Mouthwash!" Then, I noticed my bottle of Scope claims there are 37 uses for mouthwash, but doesn't say anything else on the subject. WTF?

Re: The what ever thread...
You would get so wasted! Has anybody else heard the urban legend of high school girls soaking their tampons with alcohol because it soaks into the bloodstream faster and more effectively along with the fact that they don't have to be chugging from a bottle so conspicuously in class? I doubt it has ever actually happened, but my medical training suggests it is possible.

Re: The what ever thread...
i totally have. one of my friends mentioned it to me a while back. every since then, i secretly wonder if she's actually tried it. i don't think you could easily insert a wet tampon though. but that's not to say a pipette couldn't get the job done! i've heard a lot about boozy enemas, and apparently those hurt but get you smashed.

Re: The what ever thread...
i've just spent more time than a male human really should contemplating the logistics of the inserting-a-soaked-tampon thing. it's remarkable what human creativity can get itself to.
one of the off-label uses of mouthwash is for truly desperate people to drink. when i lived in San Francisco i once left my building at 8 in the morning to buy cigarettes and was greeted with the sight of a homeless man who'd just emerged from the Walgreens with a small bottle of Scope, which he chugged on the spot. it was one of the saddest things i've ever seen.
i think if you're going to have a guitar covered in rattlesnake hide, you should have to submit to a Crossroads-style Trial By Ordeal in order to prove that you're really, truly Bad Enough to play such a guitar. this would ideally have been adjudicated by Bo Diddley, but he's dead.
