The Pharaoh has to be LOUD for it to sound right. It's dull and muffled and low volumes.

Yeah that's what I figured out after having two of them. Since I don't ever really get to play super loud I felt like I couldn't bring it to it's full potential

The amp itself doesn't have to be ear-splitting loud, but it does help a lot. What I really mean is, the pedal has to push the preamp of your amp for it to cut through and really shine, so the volume and gain has to be high on the pedal.

The photo isn't that very good, but from what I understand it's a more rare T-40. Black pickguard but the body is slightly brown-ish in color, a perfect color imho.
I *wish* I had a 2x15" Sunn cab to match the 1200s but they're hard to find up here in Canada.
