I have yet to play through one of those, I had a 90’s CL that I ran through a 2x12 a long time ago.. I got an super well taken care of 80’s svt2 this year though that I’m running info though a huge 70’s 4x12 Road cab (with new speakers) that weighs about the same as a svt8x10, the wheels save you, it takes 2 people to get it out of the van safely though
Sounds like a fat sound!
Cab will be delivered to my buddy today. Hauling it to the practice room will be the first part of the upcoming fun.
I'm really curious how earth shaking that thing will be...

Holy shit, I don’t regret buying this EGC at all! It may cost me another nice guitar and some pedals but worth it!
Very cool, you found one. Be a good parent, let's see pics......
Thanks!
It’s hard to photograph. That pic makes it look darker than it is in real life. The acid dip gives it wood grain vibes.
It’s 9lbs 3ozs but it feels lighter. The weight is distributed nicely rather than having a boat anchor feel. This one is right at a year old and is made from 7075 aluminum.
Picked up a Dr Scientist Reverberator (mini version). Seemed to be one that people raved about back in the day, so I was curious to check it out and add one to my collection.
Honestly, it holds up pretty well for its age. Yeah its a bit noisy and very limited in terms of controls, but for shorter reverbs its alright! Looks badass too!

Muderberator is the best one.

That’s quarter-assed at best.
Honestly it’s all good stuff but the standouts for me are
a) running guitar into the Softpop’s external input and spewing forth some truly disgusting modulated fuzz/ring mod, I mean audibly revolting, and
b) the cutting room floor. It’s essentially an envelope modulated slapback delay but man it’s such a cool and widely applicable effect. It also lightly distorts the PT2399 in that cool DBA way

Damn, been thinking of getting another of these since I flipped it years ago. Yeah I just love it for shorter reverbs, such a good sound to it.
