The guitarbanjo was fun, but had a monster neck. I was going to thin it down but a friend came round and loved it so I sold it to himPaul_C wrote:While I'm looking forward to getting the Generation Loss II in the next few weeks, I don't really have any other pedals I want![]()

Which GK? Those legacy ones look cool on paperD.o.S. wrote:finally got around to snagging a Rustybox. Somewhere Domvan's heart has grown one size. Also snagged one of the class D GK heads - is nice. Makes sounds loudly.
The legacy 800.I feel like they positioned it as more of an 7/800RB replacement than it is - at least if you're looking for that dirty RB sound - and the overdrive is more or less useless (IMO) but it's killer otherwise, and I was able to snag a new one locally for about half the list price, which doesn't hurt either.qersty wrote:Which GK? I never met DomVan in person, but McBride's (where he worked) announced they were closing up shop within the month, so I hope he felt those pangs if he needed themD.o.S. wrote:finally got around to snagging a Rustybox. Domvan was an original ILF bruex - I remember him from my first round posting back in in 2006.coupleonapkins wrote:I never met DomVan in person, but McBride's (where he worked) announced they were closing up shop within the month, so I hope he felt those pangs if he needed themD.o.S. wrote:finally got around to snagging a Rustybox. We live in terribleness, too much, these days
Damn i was hoping for that real GK grind. I think most people think the diezel dawg thing they use for overdrive is awfulD.o.S. wrote:The legacy 800.I feel like they positioned it as more of an 7/800RB replacement than it is - at least if you're looking for that dirty RB sound - and the overdrive is more or less useless (IMO) but it's killer otherwise, and I was able to snag a new one locally for about half the list price, which doesn't hurt either.qersty wrote:Which GK? If? Oh man, acquiring rack gear usually makes a rack case a critical eventuality. I remember my first rack solution, it was an open frame 10u unit that never filled in correctly.. always having a gap that needed filling, but that gap always being too small for whatever hunk of junk I happened across, which led of course to my needing more rack to mount the items.vidret wrote:if I get a rack case next year
Look before you leap. Getting rid of the neck join can make neck-through guitars significantly better for some people’s playing styles, but a lot of people find most neck throughs to be pretty dead sounding.MaxMaps wrote:Strongly considering trading my Dunable in for a Jackson Soloist
