What a wonderful contradiction

Really the simplicity boils down to time - a lot of my day is carved out and I tend to play at night when I am probably the most tired. I have two boards in the works - one for the wacked out sounds and the other which is a simple chain ( tuner, OD , Fuzz, Delay, Two Notes)

I will probably change my mind a thousand times before now and the end of the year.

I picked up a Zoom MS-70CDR. Feels like an MS-DOS situation, but looking forward to making and finding some good patches.

Just ordered Anarchy Audio's Aftermath and Chaos Star. Aftermath because I love how it can turn my signal into total garbage, and Chaos Star because it seems that it can go to quite some extremes while still being able to function "just" as a nasty fuzz.

I wanted one of these since I was 13 years old and started playing guitar... now 26 years later I finally got one (and for a very fair low price too!) I'm 13 again :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:

Nice, enjoying it? I am occasionally tempted despite having other stuff that does the same job

But 'tis pedge season, and also just a fleeting fancy. This is a case of waiting till I forget I want it, if don't forget: genuine want.

I love it: In less than 30second I was able to pull out some wonderful doom/sludge/grind tones out of this box, maybe I wasn't expecting it to have such high gain levels!!!

Impulsively bought a Bogner Ubershall and tickets for carcass - excited to finally play into this week.

Sold a few pedals for breathing room - I actually dont have much in pedal gas at the moment - I am however going to be moving on my Dunnable DE Cyclops - its a great guitar but I can afford something a lot nicer and I want a whammy bar for the wiggly wah sounds.

Been eyeballing the new jackson solosit guitars and the guthrie grovan charvell MIJ model.

I've been on a buying broken samplers and taking a run at fixing them jag. Most recent is an Akai S900 basket case that was missing the front panel control PCB. I was going to take a run at recreating it based on schematic and a working S900, but then I found a parts PCB in state for $26 shipped - so hopefully all I need to solve is some ancient vertical ALPS switches that appear to be NLA. Probably slap some SMT on a small switch sized PCB that has through hole pads to line up with the OEM footprint. I estimate this (and learning the last fix, an E-mu) will keep me busy through the fall.

Excellent! Interesting to hear, I wouldn't have thought that either IDK, but then why not.

I haven't played with pedals for almost 3 months. Needed a kick in the ass to get me back into it and build myself a board, so I picked up a LAL Misty Cave locally and a Stomping Stones Virus from goroth's great sales thread. I can sense an inkling of hype and GAS return!
