I'm a Johnny-no-toanz, of course, and have no clue about this stuff, but this is sounding good in my lap steel rig.
Pretty sure it's a rebadging of the Joyo American Sound, which has its proponents online.
Seems like lotsa gain on tap, which is also useful for various contact mic'd things that get plugged in.

I was already settling in on CME’s Bluetooth MIDI stuff when I saw that Sweetwater is doing two for one on the DIN “Master” version. Already wondering if I should have bought two pair instead of just one pair. Gonna get the Guitar Wing out of mothballs to run as my master controller and use my phone as the brain, all wirelessly. Wish me luck with this rabbit hole.

I'm only kind of gritting my teeth to keep myself from buying a white Count to 5

Thanks guys. I didn't even knew about white count to Fives until I read this post, so now I have one incoming because all-white board is happening.
If somebody in EU wants a standard blue one (latest revision) hit me up

I support both old/good Mastodon songs, and also colour coordinated boards!

I bought a Reese Lightning on reverb to quell the GAS pains...
...it only made it worse

I snagged a TKOG Mini-Glitch directly from them (shown next to the Tensor for size reference).

You could also just keep the blue one for the anniversary firmware

Oh man...I want a mini glitch so bad. Those emails crush me...how is it?
I finally got my hands on some Dwarfcraft dirt!
Reese Lightning did NOT disappoint!!! So many tonez to be had. Further down the rabbit hole we go!

I've only spent a few minutes with it, so I'm not the best person to ask. But it seems like a stutter pedal, as opposed to taking a long sample and mangle it. It does less than the Count to 5 or Tensor, and seems like it's less radical. So in that way, it's maybe more musical? Like it's not going to destroy your signal and make it unrecognizable. I was only using it on the desktop and didn't actively work the footswitch like a real-life situation though. There is probably a lot of interesting territory to explore, actively using the footswitch together with your picking rhythms. A fun setting I found was when I turned my HM-2 on and the Mini Glitch was adding another layer on top, almost like a delay doubling on some of the notes. It was very syrupy and shoegazey. But I want it for stutters, so I need to put it on the floor and try different settings.

Heck yeah! Was very intrigued by this for quite a while... Regret not getting one while DC was live. I mean I still could now obviously lol, but different.

that's a very minimal/utilitarian looking pedal. demos sound really cool though

Trying out some different types of picks on the lap steel. Not knowing what I'm doing means I'm not locked into conventional thinking, right?
